To celebrate World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) on 17th May '09 Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) is going to arrange several types of programs. Online Gaming competition is one of the competition in that event. The compilation will continue to 1-12 may, Winners will be rewarded with prizes.

BTRC and Splash Group has chalked out several types of programs. Students of Schools, Colleges and Universities of our country can participate the Essay and School Quiz Competition on “ICT Knowledge Base”. The last date of submission to join the essay and Illustration Competition on Digital Bangladesh is 7th May. Students of 30 schools of Chittagong will be participate at School Quiz Competition. Beside this, including the Association of Mobile phone operators of Bangladesh 20 Internet service provider will attend at the exhibition based on ICT at 17 th may at Chittagong. Winners will be rewarded at the prize giving ceremony held on 18th May 2009 in IEB, Chittagong.

The main goal of WTISD Day 2009 is to popularize the 'Digital Bangladesh' concept, building the awareness and to ensure youth participation. For this reason the Spash group supervising the competition.
